Music copyright refers to the right of music creators to enjoy the protection of copyright law for their music works. Digital music copyright is the digital copyright of music works, which is also protected by China’s copyright law. The direct beneficiaries of copyright protection should be musicians themselves, or music content providers and value-added service providers.
In the field of the Internet, the protection of digital music copyright has not been put forward once or twice in China, but it has basically died of nothing; an important reason is that the protection of copyright is not linked with the fundamental interests of Internet users. Although it is reasonable to say that the direct beneficiaries of copyright protection should be musicians themselves, or music content providers and value-added service providers.
However, this is not very in line with our domestic Internet game rules – the excessive protection of digital music copyright means that the threshold for users to obtain free resources has been raised, and the distribution and promotion of records will become a big problem. In fact, record companies are not willing to see this happen. At the same time, in order to promote the needs of their own records through the network marketing It will inevitably lead to the aggravation of copyright cost maintenance.
