When the tapered disc moves to the inner side for tightening, the steel chain moves to the direction outside the center of the circle (centrifugal direction) under the extrusion of the tapered disc, and vice versa. In this way, the diameter of the disc driven by the steel sheet chain increases, and the transmission ratio changes.
